If I Buy Eastwest Orchestra For Windows Can I Still Get The Version Full Orchestral WithI'll assume you're doing full orchestral with hybrid.Anyway, take a look at EastWest's Composer Cloud. I own Nexus Hollywood it and used it in the past, here's an example of what it sounds like.Ark 1 is the best choice out of all three for people who might not have a great expertise with orchestras, since it makes it very easy to achieve a great sound with it.It's not great on low dynamics (Ark 1 is kinda loud and doesn't work nicely on quiet passages). It the case of the strings, it has ensemble patches instead of split patches per each string instrument.Metropolis Ark 1 comes without woodwinds. All in all however, it's the best omnicomprehensive orchestral library I ever tried and my favorite of all the libs I own. What kind of music do you intend to make? There are all sorts of virtual instruments and libraries for different applications. It sounded good, but not great.Nexus Hollywood instead, sounds very cheap, doesn't give you too much degree of humanization and is also quite expensive if you don't already own Nexus. Example of how I used Symphonic Orchestra in a Cinematic Metalstep track years ago. This is what it sounds like (Choir, Strings & Brass in this track are from Ark).EastWest plugins have the problem of being too old, and unless you know how to orchestrate and process them, it might be tough for you to make them sound good. Search the subreddit and resources before making a post.If you believe your post or comment was removed in error, check the rules and include a link in a polite message to the moderators. As someone who's been making cinematic music for years and currently makes a living at it, here's my tip:If you need one that covers almost everything and sounds AMAZING & huge out of the box: Metropolis Ark 1. Check out the CAGE series for some really interesting articulations if you're doing cinematic.Choirs, it really depends what kind of sound you're looking for. Everything from full orchestra to chamber and hybrid and more.Vienna Symphonic Library is another good complete orchestra option.8DIO is a top option for strings and brass. Some of the best strings around. Or you can buy them outright.Spitfire has some really interesting and excellent libraries but they're expensive. Strezov Sampling has several to choose from, with a solid Children's Choir, and Freyja Women's. I really like the Boys Choir.
